For years I’ve been secretive about this one thing…

I hate Radiohead.

Like, a serious aversion.

Which is surprising given my penchant for moody music.

But alas, it's been a source of contention in my marriage for decades.

Then, something started creeping in.

A switch got flipped.

And suddenly all I want to do is lie in a dark room, headphones on, listening to The Bends.

My frequency changed.

And I became attuned to something I had written off as impossible.

This has happened before.

Steely Dan.
Spicy tuna.
The color red.

It’s like walking through a portal.

One moment you're actively avoiding it.

The next, it’s your whole identity.
